YEAR 2010
The year 2010 had the following important events for us:
** We had two girls from England at us to help with our horses - Emma Nelson from February until June and Katherine Lumsden from September until December.
** Jeanet Wolf from Holland and Christina Hoyle from Sweden visited us again with their friends. And also we got a visit from Katherine`s family in October.
** 3 new mares arrived from Russia - Regina and Toidjakhan from Veles Stud, Penza and Khanbibi from Tito & Natalya Pontecorvo stud Ahaltekinec in Dubna.
** We got 4 beautiful foals - Misha, Kadjaran, Sara and Ayra this spring.
** Kemput left to France to his new home at Sandrine Hugot.
** In August we were invited to Turkmenistan by Turkmen Atlary for foundation of new International Ahalteke Horse Breeding Association (IAHA).
** In June we got our promotion as 2* FEI endurance veterinarians!
** In October we were invited to work at the Austrian Championship in endurance as vets.
** We visited Markus Hubmann in Austria and Petra Maresova at Achalteke Tukleky in Czech Republic.
7.12. Katherine left us for England after spending 3 months at us. We are very grateful for her help with the horses and wish all the best in future!
27.-30.10 Katherine`s family came to visit Estonia.
17.-22.10 Kätlin attended the course "Reproductive Endocrinology" in Sweden.
3.10 Kemput left to France to his new home. Congratulations to Sandrine Hugot who is the new owner of Kemput now!
28.09-4.10 We had a great trip to Austria, altogether 4000km by car. We were invited to work at the Austrian Championship in endurance as vets. We were hosted by Markus Hubmann who also organized the competition and who himself owns and competes Akhal-Teke horses.
On our way back to Estonia we visited Petra Maresova at Achalteke Tukleky in Czech Republic and saw her Akhal-Teke horses there.
26.09-8.10 Emma Nelson from England visited us again.
24.09 Christina Hoyle from Sweden visited us again with her friend Helen.
04.09 Katherine Lumsden from England came to stay at us for 3 months to work with our AT horses.
20.08.-04.09 Jeanet Wolf from Holland visited us here again with her friend Hilrieke.
12.-16.08. We were invited to Turkmenistan by Turkmen Atlary for foundation of new International Ahalteke Horse Breeding Association (IAHA). We want to thank the organizers for invitation, we had a very pleasant time there in Ashabad!
15.06. We got our promotion as 2* FEI endurance veterinarians!
13.06. Emma left for England after spending at us 4 months. We wish her all the best and many successful rides in future!
28.05. And last foal of this year was born this morning. It`s a very elegant and pretty bay filly Ayra out of Akkol by Myrat.
15.05. Next foal was born tonight at 2.20. It`s a black bay filly Sara out of Sayathanum by Myrat.
12.05. Tonight at 1.45 we got a beautiful palomino colt Kadjaran from Bibigiz by Kuvvatli.
14.04. Firiuda foaled tonight at 3.15. It`s a big bay colt by Myrat. We named him Misha.
14.02. Emma Nelson from England has come to stay at us to work with our Akhal-Teke horses. Emma is an endurance rider who has been crewing for the Young Rider endurance team in Germany and Spain and also for Senior team in Portugal. She is currently qualifying for the Young Rider championship team in England.
09.02. Three new mares arrived to us from Russia - Regina and Toidjakhan from Veles Stud, Penza and Khanbibi from Tito & Natalya Pontecorvo stud Ahaltekinec in Dubna. Regina is also pregnant by Gornostay (1099 Serasker - 2696 Gyurza) and is due in the end of March.
YEAR 2009
The year 2009 was on one hand pretty silent for us about horse business but on the other hand extremely busy with new challenges in equestrian sport world for us as veterinarians.
** We visited the following countries in connection to start to fulfill the criteria for FEI international endurance veterinarian official:
-----in June we attended the 2nd International Endurance Veterinary Seminar and FEI Course in Newmarket, England
-----in July we were at Kuznia Nowowiejska in Poland at CEI3* endurance competition practising the vet work
-----in September we attended the FEI I and II level Course for International Veterinarians in Warka, Poland and practised the vet work at the CEI3* endurance competition.
During the event we could also visit Jacek Kobus at Boska Wola and see their Akhal-Teke mares.
----- we also worked and practised at several endurance competitions here in Estonia as vets
Besides that Kätlin also attended an animal reproduction course for a week in June in Uppsala, Sweden.
** We had 7 guests to come to visit our horses from such countries as Finland, Sweden and Holland.
** We had 3 foreign "horse"students here to practice at our farm:
----- in February and March Jeanet Wolf from Holland
----- in April Sonja Shaikh from Finland
----- in August Christina Hoyle from Sweden
** Three our horses who had stayed at us for a longer time, left for their new homes:
----- Krym left for Germany where he stays for a while before going to U.A.E.,
----- Kuvandyk to Finland
----- Kambarbay to Scotland to Solaris Sport Horses Stud
** We got all 3 foals successfully - 1 colt and 2 fillies, 2 foals are the first ones of Myrat, 1 filly is by Kuvvatli
** We got 4 mares pregnant for next year, 3 foals are by Myrat and 1 by Kuvvatli
** Sadly two our older mares passed away this year - Sonata at the age of 21 and Zeinab at the age of 25.
24.09. Our young stallion Kambarbay left to his new home in Scotland to Solaris Sport Horses Stud after spending two years growing at us.
10.-13.09. Kätlin and Kaido attended the FEI I and II level Course for International Veterinarians in Warka, Poland. There was also the CEI3* 160km endurance competition where the 1st place of CEI1* 80km won the partbred Akhal-Teke mare Alastar under rider Karin Dolezalova from Czech Republic.
During the event we could also visit Jacek Kobus at Boska Wola and see their Akhal-Teke mares.
17.-25.08. Christina Hoyle from Sweden/England came to visit us for a week to see our Akhal-Teke horses in their every-day life.
07.-09.08. Myrat became Akhal-Teke Virtual Champion Stallion and Kichitorgai became the Reserve Virtual Champion Mare at the 2nd International Akhal-Teke Championship "Teke Mania" held in Luxembourg!!!
01.08. Jeanet left for her home Holland after spending 1 month at us. She did a great job with starting several our young horses under saddle.
24.-26.07 Kätlin and Kaido were at Kuznia Nowowiejska in Poland at CEI3* endurance competition (distances 80, 120, 160km) practising the vet work.
We also met Jacek Kobus from Boska Wola who has AT horses there in Poland.
22.07. Tonight 2.40am we got our last foal of this year. It`s a tall and nice-looking colt Markhamat out of Kichidjik by Myrat.
20.07. Maris Kaldoja with her family from Estonia/Finland visited us to see our horses.
15.07. Anne and Heigo Rohtla visited us to see our AT horses. They are the best endurance riders right now here in Estonia, Heigo competing up to 160km level. He also won Nordic-Baltic Championship in endurance in 2006.
06.07. Today Jeanet Wolf from Holland came to us again for 1 month to help to train the young horses for riding.
02.07. Tonight at 1.25 am a long-waited filly Ozariya was born. It`s a lovely perlino foal out of Kichitorgai by Kuvvatli.
24.-28.06. Kätlin and Kaido attended the 2nd International Endurance Veterinary Seminar and FEI Course in Newmarket, England. After the seminar we could follow the official vets` work at the FEI CEI*** endurance race in Euston Park. We fulfilled the criteria of the 1st* level for FEI 4* international endurance veterinarian official.
07.06.-12.06. Kätlin attended an animal reproduction course in Uppsala, Sweden.
29.-31.05 Prisse, Sanna and Kirsi from Finland visited us this weekend to take Prisse`s horse Kuvandyk to Finland.
10.05. Today Sonja left for her home in Finland. We wish her all success with her studies.
10.-12.04. Prisse from Finland visited us this week-end.
06.04. Today Sonja Shaikh from Finland came to our farm for 1 month practice of horse-breeding.
02.04. And the 1st foal of this year was born today at 2.30pm! It`s a beautiful tall and typey dark bay filly Astana out of Akkol by Myrat.
12.03. Today Jeanet left for her home in Holland. She did a great job handling our horses and starting our young stallion Serdarjan to ride under saddle. Looking forward to have her back in summer!
07.-08.03 Prisse, the owner of Kuvandyk, visited us this week-end.
27.02. Today Krym left for Germany where he is going to stay for some time before he goes to Dubai, U.A.E.
03.-05.02 Clara de Vos van Steenwijk from Argamak Studfarm in Holland came to visit us with Jeanet Wolf. Jeanet is staying at us until March, the 12th to do her practical studies of school about horse management.
YEAR 2008
It looks a nice new tradition among Akhal-Teke people to look back briefly to the passed year and make some conclusions. We got also really attempted in this idea and thought to give a little overview of our doings of last year as well.
We are really satisfied with the passed year and wish everybody successful doings with their Akhal-Tekes!
** We had 9 guests to come to visit our horses from such countries as Finland, Norway, Latvia and Austria.
** We ourselves visited the following countries:
-----both Kätlin and Kaido were in Finland in NH clinic and met and visited several AT owners there;** We got all 7 foals successfully - 4 colts and 3 fillies, all by our stallion Kuvvatli
** We got 5 mares pregnant for next year, 3 foals will be the first ones of our young stallion Myrat
** Two our young horses found a new home in Norway and U.A.E.
** We started our young horses` training using Natural Horsemanship methods
** There were 3 articles published related to us: a wonderful story of Michele van Kasteren`s visit to our farm in September 2007 in Teke Mania 2008;YEAR 2008

24.-26.10.2008 Markus Hubmann from Austria came to visit us with special interest to Kamilotta for endurance sport.
25.10.2008 Kristi from Latvia visited us to see our horses with her family.
11.-12.10.2008 Prisse, Anna-Elisa and Emma from Finland came to visit us.
27.-28.09.2008 We had Mirjam here again to train our young horses.
6.-7.09.2008 Prisse visited us this week-end.
01.09.2008 Two articles have been published at Russian Akhal-Teke Inform 2008 - "Gulistan son of Kaplan" and "Akhal-Teke EST".
2.-3.08.2008 Prisse from Finland visited us this week-end. We want to thank her for allowing us to use some of her pictures at our site.
31.07.2008 And our last foal of this year is born today at 3pm. It`s an eye-catching golden palomino colt Krym out of Sayatkhanum.
16.-18.07.2008 We had Mirjam and Anu here to start the training of our 2- and 3-year old stallions with Natural Horsemanship methods.
09.-11.07.2008 Kätlin attended the 7th Equine Embryo Transfer International Symposium in Cambridge, England.
05.07.2008 Hege from Norway visited us this week-end and took home her new horse Kyssa.
04.07.2008 And another "surprise foal" was born at 11 am. It`s a lovely silvery buckskin filly Fiona out of Firiuda.
02.07.2008 At 0.30 am Kichidjik gave birth to a buckskin colt Kesgin.
29.06.2008 At 4 pm Fragariia surprised us with a lovely tough little bay colt Kalibar.
28.06.2008 Prisse from Finland, owner of Kuvandyk visited us this week-end.
27.06.2008 At 2 pm we got a gorgeous golden buckskin colt Kemsiz out of Kichitorgai.
13.06.2008 Today afternoon Bibigyz surprised us with another filly! It`s a big and beautiful girl called Belentgyz.
01.06.2008 Our first foal of this year was born tonight at 1am. It`s a lovely beige-perlino filly Saryyagyz out of Sonata and Kuvvatli.
24.05.2008 It was fun to have Prisse and Sanna visiting us again.
11.04.2008 Our filly Kyssa has found a new home in Norway. Congratulations to Hege Goksøyr Pretorius who is the new owner of Kyssa now!
29.03.2008 Kätlin and Kaido were at Monty Roberts` demonstration course in Finland. They stayed at Prisse and Seppo and could meet and visit other AT owners in Finland - Kirsi Kupsala, owner of AT stallion Sultan Girey; Marita Pyykkönen and her AT gelding Azat; Elena and her AT stallion Dargan and AT mare Erga.
23.03.2008 Prisse and Sanna visited us from Finland.
16.03.2008 Hege Goksøyr Pretorius from Norway visited us to see our Akhal-Teke horses.
12.03.2008 Kaido was in Moscow in conjuction to organize at the Moscow Transporters' Association (MAK) the accrediting and licencing Russian drivers and their horse transportation trucks upon EU regulations for driving in European Union countries.

30.06.2007 Kätlin and Kaido had a great opportunity to partake in the judging board at the AT Show in Ettelbrück, Luxembourg what was organized by ATHA and held in the framework of the International Agricultural Fair (Foire Agricole Ettelbrück) 2007. -

The third judge of the AT Show was Kamal Mirhojaev from Uzbekistan who runs an AT farm Akhalteke-Sher.
07.06.2007 Today in the morning at 8.30am we got a last AT foal for this year. It's a buckskin filly Kyssa out of Kichidjik and Kuvvatli.
21.05.2007 AND SHE IS BORN!!! Tonight at 1.30am Sonata foaled a beautiful black filly Guli-Star out of Gulistan!
We are extremely happy of having
this unique foal!
17.05.2007 Tonight at 10.45pm Sayatkhanum got a big buckskin colt Melesar by Mikhman.
29.04.2007 And the first Akhal-Teke foal is born now, too!
It's a silvery buckskin colt Kuvandyk out of Akkol and Kuvvatli who was born tonight at 2.40am.
27.04.2007 Finally Amadeia foaled last night at 1am after carrying the baby almost a year! It's a
big bay filly with long legs and playful character. We named her Louisa.
There is also some new information about her sire Louis J' pedigree.
02.03.2007 Today Kelchermek left for his new home in Sweden. Congratulations to Camilla Elfsberg who is the new owner of Kelchermek now!
24.01.2007 From February 2006 (that's when our site got the new address) till the end of last year we had got 8772 visits from

14.06.2006 Today at noon we got our last foal of this year. It's a colt again, a long-legged golden
dark buckskin boy Kemput out of Kichitorgai and
Kuvvatli.
11.06.2006 This weekend we had visitors from Finland who came to see our Akhal-Teke horses. Prisse,
Emma, Kati and Sanna - we hope you enjoyed the staying at us and liked our horses. Hope to see you again

17.04.2006 Last week Kuwwat arrived to his new home in Oregon, USA.

14.04.2006 On the 5th of April the first foal of this year from Kuvvatli was born!
A buckskin filly Beyonce from Bahar - though not at our farm anymore, but
in Czech Republic at the new owners.
We congratulate the owners and hope that they are satisfied with the filly!
We have also opened a new link - Our Akhal-Tekes.
17.-21.03.2006 Kätlin had a trip to Holland and Belgium/ Luxembourg in this week-end.
She attended Akhal-Teke Horse Association meeting where she met
several AT breeders and owners. Now Akhal-Teke EST is also a member of the association.
Kätlin could also visit Kara Leylek Stud in Belgium and
Argamak Studfarm in Holland during the time.

18.10.2005 Our yearling colt Kuwwat has found a new home in Oregon, USA. Congratulations to

18.07.2005 Today Kacan left our farm for a new home in Norway. Congratulations to Nan Cecilie
Sandbakk who is the new owner of Kacan!
28.04.2005 Today at 2am we got the 2nd foal of this year. It's a black colt Myrat out of Bibigiz
and Murgab.
08.03.2005 Today at 9am we got our first foal of this year. It's a light-coloured colt Serdar out
of Firiuda and Serasker.
12.02.2005 Two last horses – Kichitorgai and yearling Fragariia – arrived to our farm from Stavropol Stud, Russia.

23.11.2004 Two first mares of 6 purchased - Sonata and Kichidjik

July 2004 we had a wonderful trip to several AT stud farms in Russia.
23. - 25.08.2003 AT show at Moscow.
June 2003 The second purebred AT mare Bahar has arrived to our farm.
02. - 04.04.2003 We visited LenExpo at St.Petersburg.
January 2002 Akhal-Teke Est Stud has started it's work with purchasing two first purebred Akhal-Teke
horses - stallion Kuvvatli and mare Akkol.
